Community Service:
South Hadley Historical Society—Sycamores Restoration Committee 2000 to present. Committee actively engaged in restoration of a 1788 house and also a 1732 dwelling that is the oldest house in South Hadley. Produce four to six page newsletter for the society annually. Volunteer at Massachusetts Veterans’ Cemetery.

Civilian occupation:
Newspaper reporter, editor for nearly 50 years with exception of three years military service and two years on public relations staff of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Managing editor of a prize-winning small daily in Massachusetts as well as various other editorial and writing positions.
